Prayer

Church open for private prayer

Rugby Baptist Church is now open for private prayer on Tuesdays from 11am to 1pm. This video tells you what to expect. Please follow the safety measures put into place. You can find a risk assessment on the Policies page of our website. Please observe social distancing rules. Stay at home and self-isolate if you have a new, continuous cough, a high temperature or loss or change to sense of smell or taste. Do not come to church! This is to minimise risk of spread of COVID-19 to friends and the wider community. Access will be via the main entrance and exit by the office. Please use the hand sanitiser on entry and fill in your contact details on a card, in case tracing is required. This card should be left in the seat you occupied, to show which seats have been used and avoid people sitting in the same seat. As it is envisaged these will be relatively short visits, the toilets will not be in use, (except in an emergency) to reduce the need for cleaning between visits. We look forward to offering you a warm welcome - from a distance.

Risk assessment can be found here.

Like Jesus, we cannot do anything without coming to our Father, speaking to him, hearing from him, and being empowered by the Spirit. Everything we do is therefore framed by prayer. We come together specifically to pray in our monthly prayer meeting on the first Saturday of each month 8:30am–9:30am. In addition, we pray weekly every Wednesday 7:00pm–8:00pm, and of course in our house groups.

It would be our privilege to pray with you or for you. To ask for prayer on our prayer chain, please contact Bobbie by email or phone 01788 579272. For more sensitive matters, or if you'd like to meet face to face, please feel free to contact one of the ministers.

There is a prayer meeting on Zoom at 7pm on Wednesdays during the lock-down: please contact Peter for details of how to join, or follow the link on the Rugby Baptist Church Family private Facebook group.
