Children & Young People

Young people are a vital part of church life at RBC, and we do everything we can to make sure that they feel welcome, are safe, grow in their faith, and not to forget have great fun in the process. Our groups are led by experienced volunteers who all hold a current DBS certificate and undergo safeguarding training. For more information please email Louise.

Sunday Morning

Please note that as of 27th June, all network groups will be reopening face to face (Crèche, Minnows, Shoal and C Life)

Sunday Shoal + is a group for primary age children and younger who meet over Zoom on a Sunday morning at 10:30 am for a story, game and prayer and time to catch up with each other. If your child would like to join, get in touch for more details.

When we're not in the middle of a pandemic, we like to begin and end our Sunday morning worship together, with an opening section accessible to all ages. Network groups for children and young people run during the remainder of the service. We also frequently have family services where we celebrate together throughout. More details can be found on the Services page.

Regent Tots

Please note that due to the pandemic, Regent Tots are not currently meeting but are hoping to restart face to face meetings soon.

The refreshed, renewed, and revitalised Regent Tots toddler group has now started! We meet weekly on Mondays 10:00 am–11:45 am during term time.

You can find us in the Regent Rooms to the right-hand side of the main church building. All pre-school aged children are warmly welcome with their parents or carers. We ask for £1.50 per family to cover our costs.

Regent Tots provides a safe and stimulating environment, where babies and toddlers can play with a variety of toys and enjoy creative activities, singing, stories and a drink and snack. It also provides an opportunity for parents and carers to meet and chat over a cup of tea or coffee.

Please contact the church office for more details. As with all our activities, the volunteers are trained and DBS checked.

Holiday Club

Our holiday clubs generally run three times during the year: Easter, October half-term and Christmas. They promise to be filled with fun, games, stories, crafts, activities, quizzes, songs and refreshments. All 4–11 year olds are welcome. Please contact the church office for more details.

We relax with friends, share food, play games, tackle tough questions, study the Bible and grow in faith. Welcome to CY, the house group for those at secondary school. The fun begins at 7:45 pm every Sunday when we meet at church. For more information please contact Mell.
